The shout box is a great addition to the site but the refresh rate is about 7 seconds and if you are trying to read an old post ,you have to be a fast reader because when it refreshes,it goes to the newest post, which may be 6 hours old. Then you have to slide the bar down to where you left off.It was working well a few days ago after it was shut down for tweeks but since then....I wonder if anyone else has this problem.Sometimes there is good info/gossip there and I cant be chained to this laptop 24/7!Any sugestions?

When the shoutbox refreshes for me, it jumps back to the place I last was in the scroll. (does that make any sense?) In other words, it takes me back to where I was last before the refresh.

Possible, I suppose. I rarely use IE for anything, only Firefox or Opera.

I havent changed anything with the chat itself when it went down for updates. I simply added a feature to block IP/username. I didnt change the refresh rate at all.
